Afghan Media Complain of Government Control - NPR

All Things Considered, July 3, 2006 · The Afghan government is trying to control media coverage of the war against Taliban insurgents, government corruption and the growing drug trade. A document was dropped off recently at the offices of the major Afghan news organizations.
